These vegetable smoothies are still delicious and creamy although they are only made from vegetables. The secret is to monitor the amount of dark green vegetables which are used as they tend to be a tad bitter. Another secret is to use cold ingredients or ice cubes when making vegetable smoothies instead of using ingredients at room temperature. It tastes so much better than having warm smoothie chilled later. If you plan on using any of the listed recipes or decide to make you own vegetable smoothie, please do rotate recipes or vegetables. By rotating recipes or vegetables you will be able to get additional benefits from other vegetables. The carbohydrate content of each smoothie recipe stated does include the dietary fiber content (for anyone who needed to know).
