Power smoothies made with berries are truly nutritious, delicious, energizing and refreshing to the mind and body. Anyone will enjoy this smoothie. Kale and spinach often taste bitter but you won’t be able to taste them in this smoothie. A very good smoothie for weight loss.

Serving per below ingredients: 2

Ingredients
¼ cup Water (preferably cold)
1 inch Ginger (grated)
½ cup Blueberries (preferably frozen)
1 cup Spinach
½ cup Raspberries (preferably frozen)
1 cup Kale
½ cup Strawberries (preferably frozen)
Ice Cubes (optional)

Steps
Pour water, add ice cubes (optional) and grated ginger into blender and blend. Add blueberries, spinach, raspberries, kale and strawberries. Blend until ingredients are combined and smooth. You may add more ingredients you like if smoothie is not thick enough or add more water to reduce thickness. Again blend until smooth. Serve immediately or when chilled.

Creamy Peach Mango Green Smoothie       

This is a nutritious and filling weight loss smoothie recipe with a tropical and luscious taste.  Enjoy this creamy sensation that is super easy to prepare.

Ingredients
1 cup Water (preferably cold
1 small Banana (preferably frozen)

Steps
Pour water, banana and ice cubes (optional) into blender and blend until smooth. Add peach, mango and spinach. Blend again. If too thick, add more water, if not as thick as you like, add more spinach. Again blend until smooth. Serve immediately or when chilled.

Green Orange Smoothie

With its flavorful citrus juice, mild tasting lettuce and its sweet and smooth banana texture, this combination makes a powerful smoothie. Packed with fiber and bursting with a refreshing and delicious flavor. This creamy smoothie not only fills you up but gives you energy and satisfy your cravings.

Ingredients
½ cup Pure Orange Juice
2 small Bananas
1½ cup Lettuce

Steps
Pour orange juice, add bananas and ice cubes (optional) to blender. Blend. Add lettuce to blender and blend again. If smoothie is too thick add some water, if not as thick as desire, add more lettuce. Blend again. Serve immediately or serve when chilled.

Green Tea and Spinach Smoothie

This smoothie is packed with antioxidant and very energizing. No need to worry about the taste of spinach in this recipe; by the time you add all other ingredients and have made the complete fat burning smoothie, you won’t be able to taste the spinach.

Radish Greens Smoothie

A lot of people over look or throw away radish greens/leaves, but radish greens are the most nutritious part of the radish and is full of more antioxidants. Although nutritious, radish greens may have a bitter taste but that flavour can be hidden by the fruits in this healthy smoothie.

Pour water into blender, add ice cubes (optional) and blend. Add strawberries, radish green and apple. Blend until smooth. Add more of any ingredient if smoothie is not thick or add more water if too thick. Again blend until smooth. Serve immediately or when chilled.

Tropical Carrot Smoothie

The mango and the pineapple blends nicely in this smoothie to create a delicious medley. This medley is also very refreshing. It not only refreshes the body but also your mind by increasing concentration. If you’re wanting to make a savory tasting smoothie, then this is it. You will certainly wake up your taste buds.

½ cup Water (preferably cold)
½ cup Parsley
1 cup Carrot

Steps
Pour water and add ice cubes (optional) and mango to blender. Blend. Add pineapple, carrot and parsley. Blend again until smooth or once you reach desired texture. Add more parsley if smoothie is not thick enough or add more water if smoothie is too thick. Again blend. Serve immediately or store in refrigerator and serve when chilled.

  1. These smoothies look amazing! I especially like the one with the radish leaves because it shows a way to use more of the plant rather than throwing part of it away. You could use the radish to make a salad and then use their leaves to make a smoothie the next day (and radishes are pretty easy to grow too…)

    Anyway, thanks for the great suggestions. Can’t wait to try some of these smoothies out!
