Many of the vegetables used are full of fiber and water which keeps us fuller for longer and effectively controls appetite. Though, for us to feel fuller for longer we need to use enough vegetables. These smoothies are also great if you monitor or control your sugar consumption. Some people may need to acquire the taste for veggie smoothies, when just starting out. You may add fresh herbs to your vegetable smoothies to make it taste better and somewhat satisfy your taste buds. When choosing ingredients to make vegetable smoothies it would be best to use organic fresh vegetables (preferably). These are some of the best tasting vegetable smoothies, which I have personally prepared and enjoyed.

Avocado Kale Green Smoothie

This smoothie is not only creamy but delicious. With the tangy taste from the lemon/lime it does create an amazing smoothie that you are sure to love and enjoy. This creamy sensation is super easy to prepare with only 4 ingredients.

Ingredients
8oz Infused Lemon/Lime Water (preferably cold)
½ Avocado
2oz Kale
1oz Fresh Parley
Ice Cubes (optional)

Steps
Pour infused lemon/lime water into blender. Add ice cubes (optional). Add avocado, kale and fresh parsley to blender. If the smoothie is too thick, add more lemon/lime water. If smoothie is not creamy as you wanted just add more of the mentioned vegetables (preferably avocado). Blend again until smooth as desired. Serve immediately or when chilled.

Beet Celery Bok Choy Green Smoothie

A beautiful colored smoothie with a smooth texture and a refreshing taste. The beetroot is great for purifying the blood and liver and detoxifying the body. The ginger is also great for detoxification and gives the smoothie a soothing taste.

These vegetable smoothies are still delicious and creamy although they are only made from vegetables. The secret is to monitor the amount of dark green vegetables which are used as they tend to be a tad bitter. Another secret is to use cold ingredients or ice cubes when making vegetable smoothies instead of using ingredients at room temperature.     The Avocado Kale sounds good to be. What great nutrition burst. Also, the Beet Celery Bok Choy Green Smoothie is also a wonderful combination.

    1. Well I have been making smoothies going on to 3 years now. Juicing is somewhat different from smoothies. With juicing only the liquid of the ingredients used are consumed, fiber and pulp are disposed of. While smoothies consist of the entire ingredients you put in your blender, so you don’t miss out on the nutrients.
